For more than 40 years, Barry K. Honigman, Esq. has helped businesses and families plan for the future through desired succession planning and estate planning. Mr. Honigman provides peace of mind to his clients by organizing their affairs and resolving their legal issues. Trust & Estates - including comprehensive estate planning; drafting of wills, intervivos trusts, life insurance trusts and GRATs; all phases of estate administration including preparation of accountings and estate tax returns.
Corporate Partnership and LLC - including incorporation, entity formation, mergers, sales and acquisitions of businesses; extensive reviewing and drafting of all types of business agreements and documents; acquisition and sale of franchises; review and facilitation of multi-million dollar financing transactions; performance of general counsel services for a variety of businesses.
Income and Corporate Taxation - including corporate and individual tax strategy planning and research.
Real Estate - including residential real estate closings and refinancing; commercial property transactions including sales, acquisitions, financing and leasing.
Mr. Honigman was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1982, having graduated Cum Laude from New York Law School and who received a Masters of Law in Taxation from New York University in 1986. He is also admitted to the United States Tax Court in 1990, and the United States District Court – Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. Barry is also a Certified Public Accountant, New York, since 1983. He has been awarded the prestigious Martindale- Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings’ highest peer rating, AV Preeminent®, the highest peer rating standard for over 20 years. This is given to attorneys who are ranked at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal expertise, communication skills, and ethical standards by their peers.
